Repository of documents about studies of the impact of intellectual property on the access to medicines

The purpose of this project is to compile and index documents with enriching content about the impact that the incorporation of the intellectual property system has had on the pharmaceutical industry and the price of its products. The information available ranges from the origins of the initiative proposed by the ICTSD on how to measure the impact of intellectual property standards, TRIPS and TRIPS Plus through the application of the aggregated and disaggregated model (IPRIA and IPRIM) and its initial application in countries from Central and South America, such as Costa Rica, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile and Brazil, to countries such as Vietnam, Thailand and Jordan. However, this repository is not limited to the IPRIA methodology, but also includes studies of the impact of intellectual property protection on access to medicines using other types of methodologies.
